First day in music school.

Galing sa bahay ng aking kaibigan, nagmadali akong pumunta sa Music Studio dahil unang araw ngayon ng klase ko sa violin. Ramdam ko ang kasabikan sa aking damdamin dahil ito ang unang beses kong mag-aral sa isang music school at sarili kong ipon ang ginamit ko.

Dumaan ako sa mall. Lumabas ako sa highway na nilalakaran ng maraming tao. Nakita kita. Nakapinta sa iyong mukha ang kagalakan sa paghigop ng pearl shake. Nais sana kitang batiin ngunit nangibabaw ang nararamdaman kong tampo sa iyo. Kaya nagpasya akong huwag ka na lamang pansinin.

Pakiramdam ko ay nakita mo rin ako. Ngunit hindi ka man lang umimik at patuloy ka lang sa iyong paglalakad.

Hanggang sa nalagpasan na kita. Hindi na ako lumingon para pagmasdan ang iyong paglayo. Tingin ko’y hindi ka rin mag-aabalang lumingon at tignan pa akong muli.

Hinayaan na lang kita. Ayaw kong masira mo ang aking kasabikan sa pag-aaral ko ng violin.

It was awful to hear that Raymond Bagatsing, who is in his late 30′s, married a 60-year old columnist in US. It was like a toddler that has a 25-year old girlfriend. No wonder I felt good upon hearing that these two separated.

Earlier, while I was browsing Facebook, a profile picture of my high school classmate caught my attention. She is with her boyfriend and it seems that they were lying down when they took their picture. I browsed her profile to see how she’s doing, and I looked at her photos as well. I clicked the album where her and her boyfriend’s photos are. Eww. It was like her giving away a quarter of her purity.
I became curious of who her boyfriend is. I browsed his profile. He is more than two years younger than my classmate. Agh. They felt no shame upon showing the world their intimacy. Yuck.

I grew up with a mindset that in dating/courtship, the guy is always older than the girl. Thus it became one of my non-negotiables. Until I heard of a lot of godly couples with the girl older than the guy.So I became used to hearing stories of godly people. With others, I am still disgusted. they make me look like this:

Challenges for the coming semester.

Even before the second semester starts, there were things that are getting into my head, challenges that may ruin my second semester:

Mediocrity is overtaking me. For past two semesters, I didn’t think about clearing my 4.0 and INC’s I incurred last year. Since they are already “expired”, I have to retake them all. What a burden to my parents!
I don’t know what my grades are. Since my CRS password isn’t working, I can only know my grades during enrollment.
Another consequence of my void CRS password is I don’t know those subjects that I successfully enlisted. This is not a big problem since four of my subjects are majors and only few enlisted the other one (PI 100).
Tuition scarcity. My brother and are both in college, so we need a lot of money for our enrollment. Plus, I have to pay my loan of Php6,300 before enrolling.
One of my major subjects will affect my commitment in NXT. Math 197 (Selected Topics in Mathematics) is scheduled at WF 5:30-7:00PM. I cannot replace this one with another because I am catching up, except if my adviser allows me to take Math 134 (Complex Analysis) which requires students to be senior standing, not merely seniors.

But thankfully, God has already provided what I need. He has provided me classmates in Math 197 that will encourage me to do my best. (I hope that I would encourage them as well.) I am still believing for favor and finances for this semester. I am holding on to His promises written in His Word, especially this one:

“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:32)

Hi. I just want to say sorry for snobbing after the service, I don’t know how to even say “hi” to you in a friendly manner. I am “naiilang” + “nahihiya” towards you since someone told me about your adoration. How about a jam? Maybe when we are friends enough.

Earlier, I met my high school classmates Roi and Majes. They were whom I usually go with after a strenuous day of classes. We usually rode the same jeep when we go home, or sometimes, walked, while airing random humors about each other. I was happy to see them again, wearing the same personalities they had before, though they have undergone changes caused by college.

Roi was just an ordinary guy who cares nothing much about his physical appearance. Though he became a member of the school’s cheering squad, he is not that popular. Now, browsing his photos in an online social network, he became conscious with his looks, and embraced vanity. He told me that he wants to be a freelance model if he is tall enough. He is earning some money for his studies through Student Assistance and teaching dance to others. He is also a part of their university’s dance troupe which performs folk dances around the country. He started to drink alcohol, like many of my classmates. Some girls, and even guys, were asking him for a date, but he turned them down.

Majes was my “best friend” in high school, since we have been classmates for three years. She takes her studies seriously, unlike me. She hadn’t changed much since then, except of her hair that had grown long.

We started talking about some of our batchmates. They told about some girls who became pregnant. One of them doesn’t have any idea who the “father” is. They also told about some partners who retained their relationships until now and those who broke up. They also shared a shocking gossip about a guy’s shameful habit. (WHOA. I felt sooo ignorant. )

But when the words “church” and “religion” were spoken in our conversations, I felt like they are not much into it and they want to move to another topic or to continue talking about whosoever.

When they have gone away, I just felt that they are in desperate need of Jesus. They seemed okay with their lives right now, they confidently say to me that they will graduate on time, and they have laid the best of their plans after college. But would they realize that God has plans for them which are good, pleasing and perfect? I believe that they are destined for something far greater than what they think. How could I tell them? :sad:

I wanted to tell them that Celeen, one of my fourth year classmates, have been attending Victory church in Pasig since July and she attended Victory Weekend earlier this day. Also Lenard, my ka”loveteam” as they say, attends Victory U-belt and I have seen God’s importance in his life in his statuses. These people are starting to seek God and little by little, put their trust in His will over their lives.

I hope that I could share Jesus to them through my words and actions. May their eyes be opened, deaf ears be unlocked, and lives be healed as well.

Riding a jeep to EDSA-Shaw and 15-minute walk to Galleria was ALL paid off with this marvelous-wonderful-headbanging Friday Night Live at Victory Ortigas.

And earlier, the preaching was about Job. The preaching eventually encouraged me to read and meditate on the book of Job.Job, a wealthy, faithful servant of the Lord, was given three tests that would make him curse God. First, all his properties were swept away. But ‘Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said:

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked I will depart.
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away;
may the name of the LORD be praised.”’(Job 1:20-21)

Job did not sin against God and passed the test.(v.22)

Boring sembreak. I didn’t bring that Boyce DiPrima textbook with me, thus bringing agony with my exam. So all I am doing is keeping in touch with Facebook.

But later, I will go to Friday Night Live with Sam and Ian. Sounds cool, isn’t it?

I wish that I could go to Touch Point tomorrow at the Fort. Paul will be singing. If only have no appointment that time. Meh!

Chaotisch!!!

Uhh, I can’t believe it! I am in my peak of learning Deutsch, after that sudden 6 weeks, it’s OVER.

I’ll remember Belsha, Pochoy und Patrick who were with me after watching a movie in Goethe Institut. We had a hard time looking for a cab which could send us to MRT Ayala. We’re bathing wet because of storm!

I’ll remember Arbin who accompanied me for our UVLe accounts. A lot of my Baguio colleagues know him. And his dark skin. (Just kidding )

I’ll never forget Aloe, who splitted himself into multiple personalities and made the whole conversation activity, even my lines. (Read “Silly Conversations -_-’”)

I’ll remember Xander, who also didn’t know that our class was cancelled because of storm.

I’ll never forget Katrina, who picks up a chair and puts it beside Patrick everytime she enters the class.

I’ll remember Gab, who told me that our class was cancelled when I’m running late.

I’ll never forget Joseph, who shared ideas/trivias/song/name it…to infinity! I’ve learned from him anyway.

Mara and Eunice? I’ll never forget them too!

Oh…Airnel??! He BARELY showed up. I’ll never EVER forget him.

Most of all, I’ll EVER regret to forget Frau Jeanne Arroyo who taught us everything in…and out…of Chapters null to vier. I’ll bring them not only in Baguio, but also to Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz, Judea, Samaria, and TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH!

Since I find it impossible to graduate on time, I’ll come back next summer and tag team with Zorro and the CASAA Ninjas to conquer the earth! Just kiddng. I’ll see if it’s possible to enroll German 11. It’s hard to get away from it!
