Chaotisch!!!

Uhh, I can’t believe it! I am in my peak of learning Deutsch, after that sudden 6 weeks, it’s OVER. 😥

I’ll remember Belsha, Pochoy und Patrick who were with me after watching a movie in Goethe Institut. We had a hard time  looking for a cab which could send us to MRT Ayala. We’re bathing wet because of storm! 😆

I’ll remember Arbin who accompanied me for our UVLe accounts. A lot of my Baguio colleagues know him. And his dark skin. (Just kidding 😆 )

I’ll never forget Aloe, who splitted himself into multiple personalities and made the whole conversation activity, even my lines. 😆 (Read “Silly Conversations -_-‘”)

I’ll remember Xander, who also didn’t know that our class was cancelled because of storm. 😆

I’ll never forget Katrina, who picks up a chair and puts it beside Patrick everytime she enters the class. 😀

I’ll remember Gab, who told me that our class was cancelled when I’m running late. 😆

I’ll never forget Joseph, who shared ideas/trivias/song/name it…to infinity! I’ve learned from him anyway.

Mara and Eunice? I’ll never forget them too! 😀

Oh…Airnel??! He BARELY showed up. I’ll never EVER forget him. 😆

Most of all, I’ll EVER regret to forget Frau Jeanne Arroyo who taught us everything in…and out…of Chapters null to vier. I’ll bring them not only in Baguio, but also to Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz, Judea, Samaria, and TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH! 😀

Since I find it impossible to graduate on time, I’ll come back next summer and tag team with Zorro and the CASAA Ninjas to conquer the earth! Just kiddng. 😆 I’ll see if it’s possible to enroll German 11. It’s hard to get away from it! 😀

Silly Conversations -_-‘

Standard

I just want to share what I and Aloe did on our activity. So silly.

Aloe: Hallo, Grace!
Grace: Hallo, Aloe!
Aloe: Woher kommst du?
Grace: Ich komme aus Pasig City. Und woher kommst du?
Aloe: Ah, ich komme aus Quezon City. Was trinkst du?
Grace: Ah, Apfelsaft.
Aloe: Igitt! Ich trinken Bittermelonesaft.

Igitt!

Der Bittermelonesaft! Igitt!

Aloe: Herr Ober!
Aloe 2: Ja mein Herr. Was trinken Sie?
Aloe: Ein Apfelsaft und fünf Bittermelonesaft. Nein, fünfunzwanzig Bittermelonesaft.
Aloe 2: Ein Apfelsaft und fünfunzwanzig Bittermelonesaft. Kommt sofort!
Grace: Wer ist das?
Aloe: Ah, das ist mein Freunde, Aloe 3. Aloe 3, das ist Grace. Sie kommt aus Pasig.
Grace:Aloe 3, woher kommst du?
Aloe 3: Aus Pasig.
Grace: Wo genau?
Aloe 3: In Fluss! Herr Ober! Zahlen, bitte! Zusammen, bitte.
Aloe 2: Ein Apfelsaft und fünfunzwanzig Bittermelonesaft. Das mach eintausend Euro.
Aloe: Ehem, ehem, Grace, bitte.
Grace: Hier, bitte.
Aloe 2: Danke. Auf Wiedersehen.

Never ever dare to talk to Aloe again. For they are many. 😆 Danke schoen!

Merrying-go-round with Zahlen Lehre.

Standard

Who is this Zahlen Lehre and what is he doing in my blog?

Numbers!

This is... err... they are... Zahlen.

Haha 😀 . Now I’ve finally learned about what my Tante have mentioned in one of her comments:

comment ni tita

Counting with Zahlen from eins to einhundertdreiunneunzigbillionfünfhundertachtunsiebzigmillionsechshundertneununvierzigtausendzweihundertvierunsiebzig , and deciphering null-neun-null-fünf-drei-drei-acht-sieben-drei-vier-vier and using these to sell Orangensaft, Bananensaft and dry… err… drei Eistee!

With Zahlen, Karl Friedrich Gauss managed to excel on his elementary math and formulated his divergence theorem, the Gauss-Jordan elimination method in linear algebra, and a lot more. Albert Einstein learned about Zahlen and has speculated his theory of relativity, the E = mc² and a lot more concerning modern physics. A lot more German mathematicians and physicists started with Zahlen in kindergarten and became famous on their fields of study.

(I’d like to thank my professors and instructors in my Math major subjects for not using German as their medium for teaching. Just imagine using dreicommavierzehn… for computing a circumference andzweicommasiebenhundertauchzehn… for hyperbolic sines, cosines, tangents, etc.)

So who says learning numbers is burdensome? Not at all! It’s just that reading and/or writing them in a loooooooooong compound word, you know, are nuts. 😐

German name generator

Standard

I had a hard time thinking what to post here. I can’t just post anything irrelevant with German 10 or anything relevant to it but is not cited.

Then I saw from a friend’s Facebook wall this application called “What’s Your German Name?” and tried using it. On space provided I wrote my name Grace Anonas and indicated that I am a girl. Clicking the “Submit” button leads me to this result:

Result

Here is the result. I wonder what they used as basis for saying that.

Nadine Gerlinda sounds awful. I’ll never use that as my name when I intend to live in Germany.

I am curious about yours. Maybe you should try this and post yours as a comment. 😀 Guten Abend!
